Important information for drivers moving home!

When you move home, make sure you do the following:

• Update the DVLA with your change of address – the fine is £1000 if you fail to do this within a reasonable time of moving home.
• Update your car ownership documents (log book or V5c). You must fill in the change of address section and send this to the DVLA.
• Return any parking permits to your local council.
• Apply for a new parking permit for your new address (where needed).
• Update your car-breakdown insurance company of your new address.
